Pediatric Education for the Pre-Hospital Provider

Pediatric Education for the Pre-Hospital Provider, (PEPP) is a valuable pediatric training program for our EMTs and 1st Responders. PEPP represents a complete source of prehospital medical information for the emergent care of infants and children. Developed by the American Academy of Pediatrics, PEPP is an exciting curriculum designed specifically to teach pre hospital professionals how to better assess and manage ill or injured children.

PEPP is a comprehensive, innovative, and highly visual course with case-based lectures, live action video, hands-on skills stations, and small group scenarios… (From the PEPP Web site, 2007)

The SCRTAC, in cooperation with the State of Wisconsin Hospital Emergency Preparedness Program, and the State Trauma Advisory Council, has worked to promote this educational program throughout Wisconsin.
